Windows 11 has a centralized location for the majority of its settings. From system configurations to creating new users and updating Windows, all can be done from its System Settings pane. To get to System Settings, you can use the Windows key + I shortcut or click on Start ==> Settings as shown in the image below: Alternatively, you can use the search box on the taskbar and search for Settings. Then select to open it. Windows Settings pane should look similar to the image below. In the Windows Settings app, click Time & language on the left, then select the Language & region tile on the right pane as highlighted in the image below. On the Time & language -> Language & region settings pane, click the Regional format tile to expand. Once expanded, click the Change format button as shown below. On the Time & language -> Language & region -> Reginal format settings pane, select the format you want in the Short date and Long date drop menus. That should do it! You can now close the Windows Settings app. Alternatively, you can the classic Control Panel app to change the date format there. Click the Start button, and then search for Control Panel and select the Control Panel app. Next, click Change date, time, or number formats. The Region dialog box appears. On the Formats tab, select the format you want to change from the drop-down list. Now click the Additional Settings button. The Customize Format dialog box appears.
